Interchange Shoalhaven has been providing support to people with disabilities in our community for over 25 years. In order to deliver on our vision, as well as embrace the changing world of the NDIS, we have passionately embarked upon a major transformational change in the way we operate.

We are building a business, where participants and support workers are at the heart of everything we do. We are creating a culture of engagement, alignment and satisfaction through a model of self-organisation and choice. We are building a culture of learning and development, where we openly encourage new ideas and innovation. A flexible environment where we work collaboratively together with our vision always front of mind.

Our vision is not small, no vision should be; We see a community where all people have choice and lead good lives.

Our mission defines how we achieve this; We provide pathways for people with disabilities to live a good life by asking them what they want, and supporting them to achieve this, their way.

Our values define how we behave, what we stand for, and how we deliver our service. We value openness, respect, flexibility, reliability, responsiveness and choice.

With such passion, we are a growing business and we are now looking to build on our team of support workers. Logistically, we have a particular need to support participants during after school hours, evenings and on the weekends.

Maybe you have previous experience, maybe you don’t. We actually don’t mind either way. What is important to us though, is that you align wholeheartedly to our values, and, that you are motivated by the opportunity to work passionately and collaboratively towards our shared vision.

Please note, you will need your own vehicle, and if you don’t already have them, you will need to obtain a working with children check and first aid certificate. For those who have previously worked in the industry and those who haven’t, we provide lots of support and training.
