KID’S CLUB – Offers respite to the carers of children 8-14 years with mild to moderate support needs. We transition the kids to our social support groups when they turn 14 or, after turning 12 they may be considered.
Kid’s Club has an activity every 4 weeks from 9.15 – 2.30pm, mainly on Saturdays but sometimes it could be a Sunday, depending on the activity. Everyone meets at the Interchange Office in Nowra. The activities are mainly in the local area and some examples are bowling, swimming, fishing, craft, movies, train ride, zoo and farm visits.
The group is limited to 9 children and supervised by Interchange workers and volunteers.
The family is asked to pay $15 per child to the supervisor on arrival. This helps to cover all activity expenses as no other money is needed. Service will not be denied because of an inability to pay the fees.

A waiting list applies for this group, for more info please contact us using the contact page.
