After retraining as a Clinical Psychologist and later a Child Neuropsychologist specialised  in the assessment of acquired and developmental brain injury and rehabilitation of those clients and their families. Areas of interest included anxiety, depression and post traumatic stress disorder.

After moving to Jervis Bay on retirement she has become involved in various organisations as a volunteer including Landcare, Interchange Shoalhaven, Intellectual Disability Rights Service and the Medical School of University of Wollongong (Shoalhaven campus).

I learnt about Interchange Shoalhaven and the important work it does and decided to join the Board. It has been a challenging and rewarding time as the organisation moved to a new level to prepare for the introduction of the NDIS. Interchange Shoalhaven has demonstrated innovation and forward thinking to ensure it maintains its relevance and provides opportunities for clients in the future.
