Professional Qualifications: Bachelor of Social Work, CELTA, AICD.
Anne has experience working in both mental health and aged care systems primarily involved working with clients/consumers and most recently in a management role. Anne had responsibility overseeing a number of Commonwealth and State funded programs as well as developing support material in response to needs of clients/consumers. Anne has presented at a number of conferences both National and International. Before moving to the Shoalhaven in 2015 Anne was a Board member of a mental health organisation in WA. In this role Anne was a member of both the Finance and Corporate Governance Committees of the Board.
Anne is currently a volunteer for a community care organisation in an assessment role as well as a volunteer teaching English for Life to people whose first language is not English. Anne also enjoy’s swimming in the beautiful beaches on Jervis Bay as well as bushwalking, cycling, kayaking, reading and gardening.
Being a Board member of Interchange Shoalhaven is a great way to give back to the community the skills acquired whilst working as a social worker in health and non for profit organisations. It is a privilege to be part of a team that is united in its purpose to ensure people living with a disability have access to exceptional services of their choosing.
